We offer 6 mm disposable veterinary speculums. The speculums are made from surplus (waist) medical-grade plastic. The warm-feeling material and the rounded tip to avoids discomfort during examination.

Do you offer different speculum sizes?
At the moment the 6 mm speculum is our only option. However, vets working with smaller animals with shorter ear canals should consider the human otoscope version (2.5 mm and 4 mm speculums available). Ask for a bundle price offer!
Can I use my own tablet or smartphone?
You can use all Sibbo MD devices with your own Android smartphone or tablet (iOS coming spring 2026). You need to download the Sibbo MD app from the Google Play store. However, since there are so many Android manufacturers, we cannot guarantee that the otoscope will work with every possible Android device.
How is the VET Ear Penguin cleaned? What if I need to disinfect it?
The Ear Penguin can be cleaned using medical grade cleaning wipes with applicable intended purpose (e.g. 70%-isopropanol). Use a damp cloth, do not soak. For comprehensive disinfection we recommend disinfection with Tristel Trio or UV Smart D25 devices.
